There are currently 35,000 children enrolled in OUR Indianapolis Public school system. According to the USDA many of these children live at or below poverty level – most can not afford to purchase school uniforms or supplies. On the east side of Indianapolis, 8 out of 10 do not get two meals a day unless they are in school. Only about half of these kids graduate high school. Those who don’t often plummet into a deeper level of poverty! These staggering statistics demand our immediate attention!

The Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and HANK’S ADVANTAGE Health SkyConcert Foundation are joining forces to “Suit UP” and help break the cycle of poverty through Shepherd Community Center. “Suiting UP for School” is designed to close the gap from poverty to hope in our community, thus breaking the cycle of poverty in these kids’ lives! Suiting UP for School, with your help, could deliver the desperately needed school uniforms, supplies and food to these IPS children.
